LAS VEGAS – No. 4 Bakersfield held on to a close lead over No. 5 Utah Valley to win the first men's quarterfinal game 55-40. Bakersfield advances to the men's semifinal game against No. 1 New Mexico State on Friday.
Tyrell Corbin led the Roadrunners with 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
The Wolverines were led by Donte Williams' 15 points, while Zach Nelson was just shy of a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds.
