LAS VEGAS – No. 2 Missouri-Kansas City held on for a 70-61 win over No. 7 Texas-Pan American in the quarterfinals of the WAC Tournament Thursday for its first conference tournament victory since 2007. The 'Roos advance to the semifinal game at 8:30 p.m. (PT) on Friday.
Reese Holliday led the 'Roos with 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Deshon Taylor had a career-high 16 points.
The Broncs were led by Shaquille Boga's 14 points, while Dan Kimasa recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
