No. 3 Seattle U 49 , No. 6 Chicago State 45
LAS VEGAS – With a little over two minutes left in the game, No. 3 Seattle U came from behind to defeat the No. 6 Chicago State Cougars 49-45 in the last quarterfinal game Thursday.
The Redhawks set a new WAC Tournament record, holding Chicago State to just 12 points in the second half.
Isiah Umipig led the Redhawks with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals. The Cougars were led by Jawad Adekoya's career-high 17 points.
