LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. - The 2015 Western Athletic Conference Golf Championship takes center stage beginning on Monday at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The men are set to compete for the conference title on the Gold Course while the women will play for the trophy on the Heritage Course.

Men's Preview

It looks to be a competitive tournament on the men's side as New Mexico State comes to Arizona as a slight favorite over Missouri-Kansas City, by not by much. The Aggies are averaging 289.3 strokes per round while the Kangaroos bring a 290.3 stroke average to Wigwam as the championship could go down to the final few holes.

Individually, the UMKC duo of Antoine Rozner and Mitch Tucker look to be among the favorites to take the individual title, holding stroke averages of 71.50 and 71.79 respectively. Among those expected to give the pair of Roos a challenge are 2014 medalist Pat Beyhan of New Mexico State and Utah Valley's Brayden Eriksen.

Women's Preview

New Mexico State will be looking to win a second straight WAC title and head to Wigwam as the favorite after averaging 298.0 strokes per round. The Aggies will be led by sophomore Camille Orito, the 2014 WAC Freshman of the Year. Orito is averaging 73.75 strokes per round through 24 rounds.

Individually, Grand Canyon senior Charlotte Jaengkit looks to be the favorite to earn medalist honors, having won six tournaments in 2014-15. The fifth-place finisher in 2014, she is averaging 72.63 strokes per round through 30 rounds with 11 rounds under par and six rounds in the 60s.
