DENVER- The Western Athletic Conference 2015 women's tennis award winners, as selected by the league's head coaches, were announced tonight at the WAC Tennis Tournament awards reception. Grand Canyon's Priscilla Annoual was named WAC Player of the Year, while Seattle U's Michelle Lui was selected as Freshman of the Year. Grand Canyon head coach Gregory Prudhomme earned Coach of the Year honors.
Annoual, posted a 12-3 mark this season at No. 1 singles. A two-time WAC Player of the Week, she is 13-3 on the season and undefeated in WAC play.
Lui went 18-20 on the year, with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. She went 1-4 in WAC play, at No. 1 singles.
Prudhomme led his team to the WAC regular-season title with a perfect 5-0 record. The Lopes posted an 11-6 overall record.
