Docter, McDonald Named WAC Interns for 2015-16

DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference has announced Andrew Docter and Megan McDonald have been hired as interns for the 2015-16 seasons. Docter will work with compliance and championships while McDonald will work with media relations and the WAC Digital Network.

Docter comes to the WAC after serving as a legal and compliance intern at Stark Investments in Milwaukee, Wis. A 2009 graduate of University of Saint Thomas where he was a football student-athlete, he also served as an intern for the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2012-13. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University in 2014 and served as editor and senior survey writer for the Marquette University Sports Law Review.

McDonald joins the WAC following six months at ABC NewsOne in New York. She earned her bachelor of arts in journalism and mass communications from Iowa State University in 2014 and was a gymnast for the Cyclones. In addition to working with Cyclones.Tv in Ames, Iowa, she was an intern for NFL films during the summer of 2014. At the WAC, McDonald will be featured as the face of the WAC Digital Network, hosting updates from the conference's Denver studio.
