DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference will have six men's basketball games broadcast nationally on various regional sports networks by the American Sports Network (ASN) during the 2016-17 season. In addition, the WAC Digital Network (WDN) will produce and broadcast six regular season Games of the Week for the upcoming season. ESPN will also produce and air the WAC Basketball championships on its family of networks.
The ASN games will air on Sinclair Networks and other syndicated over the air stations and regional sport networks nationwide. In combination with Sinclair broadcast stations airing ASN, the combined footprint for ASN in Sinclair and non-Sinclair markets is now projected to reach approximately 65 million households for select games. ASN is a programming initiative of Sinclair Networks Group, LLC (“SNGâ€), a division of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc.

Networks carrying the games will be announced in the weeks leading up to the games. Viewers can also watch games via live streaming on the ASN website,

The WDN “Game of the Week†will be produced and broadcast by the WAC Digital Network. Games will feature all eight women's basketball teams in the WAC, plus an additional two men's games, including a re-match of last year's WAC tournament championship game. These contests will be available on the WDN and potentially other outlets.

The WAC Tournament women's and men's championship games will be on Saturday, March 11, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Games will be carried on the ESPN family of networks.
