OREM, Utah - In front of an energetic crowd, the fourth-seed UNLV Rebels knocked off top-seed Utah Valley in the semifinal round of the 2016 WAC Men's Soccer Tournament on Friday night at Clyde Field in Orem, Utah.

After a scoreless first half, the Rebels struck first in the second as Danny Musovski did his job dribbling the ball into the box and Spencer Jackson finished the play with a shot into the upper left corner for his first goal of the season. The score would hold as the Rebels held on for the upset win.

Utah Valley, ranked 23rd in the latest NSCAA Coaches' Top 25, held a 14-10 advantage on shots. UVU keeper Mitch Jensen made five saves while UNLV's Enrique Adame made four saves.

UNLV advances to play Air Force in the tournament final on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. It will mark the fourth straight season that the tournament host will not be playing for the title.
