KANSAS CITY - A total of nine men's soccer players from the WAC were named All-West Region selections by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Tuesday.
The Utah Valley duo of Paul Hoffmeister and Skyler Milne was joined by WAC Offensive Player of the Year Niki Jackson from Grand Canyon as first team selections. Jackson led the WAC with 16 goals on the season while Hoffmeister finished with nine goals and Milne with eight goals.
UVU also had a pair of second team selections as goalkeeper Mitch Jensen was joined by defender Alex Neff. UNLV forward Danny Musovski, the WAC Tournament Most Valuable Player, also earned second team honors.
The WAC was represented on the third team by Grand Canyon's Hector Montalvo, UIW's Ben Conway and San José State's Jonathan Colunga.
The NSCAA All-America teams are expected to be announced on Dec. 9 at the College Cup in Houston.
