UVU's Neff Named Senior CLASS All-American
OREM, Utah - Utah Valley University defender Alex Neff has been named to the 2016 Senior CLASS Award® All-American second team following a nationwide vote. Neff joins a list of 10 to be recognized on the first or second team with Wake Forest midfielder Jacori Hayes selected as the 2016 Senior CLASS Award® winner in NCAA® Division I men's soccer.

"Alex has had an indelible impact on our program and we wouldn't be where we are without him," said UVU head coach Greg Maas. "The All-American selection is a fitting honor as he embarks on the next chapter of his career as a professional player."

On Tuesday, Neff was named to the NSCAA All-West Region second team and during the season was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Team. Neff was also named first-team All-WAC in each of his three seasons at Utah Valley. As a junior he was honored as an NSCAA Scholar All-American and NSCAA All-Region first team member.
