DENVER - Grand Canyon senior forward Grandy Glaze has been named Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 8-14. This is his third WAC Player of the Week honor of the season.
The Toronto, Ontario, native averaged 20.5 points on 63 percent shooting, 12.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game as the Lopes went 2-0 on the week. Glaze opened the week with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting to go along with a career-high 15 rebounds and two steals in a non-conference win over Benedictine. In a road win at Seattle U on Saturday, he posted his third straight double-double and his 10th of the season with 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds to go with two steals and one assist. The WAC leader in field goal percentage (61.5), Glaze has shot 50 percent or better from the field in 18 of 25 games this season and eight of 10 WAC games.

Pascal Siakam of NM State averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in a pair of victories ... Seattle U's Manroop Clair tallied a game-high 20 points on 67 percent shooting in a loss to Grand Canyon ... Dan Kimasa of UT Rio Grande Valley finished with 17 points and six rebounds in a loss at UMKC ... Utah Valley's Jaden Jackson scored a game-high 20 points on 64 percent shooting in a loss at CSUB.
