Three WAC Players Named to NABC All-District 6 Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three WAC men's basketball players - NM State's Pascal Siakam and Grand Canyon's Joshua Braun and Grandy Glaze - have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Region 6 Team. Siakam was a first team selection, while Braun and Glaze were named to the second team.

Siakam, the unanimous WAC Player of the Year, was also selected first team All-WAC, to the WAC All-Defensive Team and to the U.S. Basketball Writers Assocation (USBWA) All-District VIII Team. He leads the nation with 27 double-doubles, ranking eighth nationally in rebounding (11.6) and 25th in scoring (20.3). He is the only player in NCAA Division I averaging a double-double that averages 20 points a game. Siakam was also named WAC Player of the Week an unprecedented five times this season.

Braun, a first team All-WAC selection, led the WAC in free throw percentage (86.8), ranked second in scoring (16.5), third in three-point field goal percentage (39.2), fifth in three-pointers per game (2.15) and 10th in blocked shots (0.68). Braun was named the WAC Player of the Week in early January.

Glaze, a second team All-WAC and All-Newcomer Team selection, posted 14 double-doubles on the season. He led the WAC in field goal percentage (59.6), ranked second in rebounding (8.8) and eighth in scoring (14.0). He was named WAC Player of the Week three times, the second-most among WAC players.
