WAC Women's Tennis Postseason Honors Announced

DENVER - The 2015-2016 All-WAC teams have been named, following a vote of the WAC's six head coaches. NM State's Ashvarya Shrivastav headlines the awards, earning WAC Player of the Year honors, while UT Rio Grande Valley's Tara Donaho was named WAC Freshman of the Year and Grand Canyon's Gregory Prudhomme earned WAC Coach of the Year honors.

Shrivastav was the pick for WAC Player of the Year after going 4-1 at #1 singles in conference matches and 17-12 overall. She finished 13-13 overall in doubles play and 10-8 with partner Rimpledeep Kaur.

Donaho earned WAC Freshman of the Year honors after going 4-1 at #6 singles play and 2-1 at #2 doubles play with partner Reegan Greenwood.

Prudhomme was named WAC Coach of the Year after leading the ‘Lopes to a second place regular season finish with a WAC record of 4-1 and an overall record of 9-8.
