WAC Men's Tennis Postseason Honors Announced

DENVER - The 2015-2016 All-WAC teams have been named, following a vote of the WAC's six head coaches. Missouri-Kansas City's Airam Castellano headlines the awards, earning WAC Player of the Year honors, while Grand Canyon's Mathieu Rajaonah was named WAC Freshman of the Year and Grand Canyon's Gregory Prudhomme earned WAC Coach of the Year honors.

Castellano was the pick for WAC Player of the Year after going 5-0 at #1 in singles WAC play and 4-1 at #1 in doubles WAC play, teaming up with Mike Psarros. He was named WAC Player of the Month in October and was named WAC Player of the Week two times this season.

Rajaonah earned WAC Freshman of the Year honors after going 5-0 at #4 singles in conference matches and 17-3 overall.

Prudhomme was named WAC Coach of the Year after leading the ‘Lopes to a three-way tie for the regular season title finishing 4-1 in league play. He led the men's team to a 14-8 overall record.
