Just a few weeks remain until the 2016 WAC Men's Golf Championship at Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine, Wash. and teams are beginning to turn their focus toward the Pacific Northwest. This week, Chicago State remains in Illinois for the Bradley Invitational. UT Rio Grande Valley heads to Bastrop, Texas for the Jim West Intercollegiate and Utah Valley travels to Tulsa, Okla. for the Oral Roberts Shootout. Grand Canyon and CSU Bakersfield both head to the coast for the OGIO UCSB Intercollegiate in Santa Barbara, Calif.
For Grand Canyon, Missouri-Kansas City and UT Rio Grande Valley, the next time they take to the course for competition will be the 2016 WAC Women's Golf Championship at Semiahmoo Country Clube in Blaine, Wash. For the remaining five schools, they will wrap up the regular season this week. NM State heads to Lubbock, Texas for the Red Raider Shootout and Chicago State travels to Terre Haute, Ind. for the Indiana State Spring Invitational. CSU Bakersfield, Seattle U and Utah Valley will all get one more look at each other in Goodyear, Ariz., meeting at the Bobcat Spring Invitational.
The 2016 WAC Men's and Women's Golf Championships will head to the Pacific Northwest this season as the trophies will be won at the Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, Wash. The women are set to compete on April 22-24 while the men will compete on April 30 through May 2.
