SEATTLE - No. 4 Seattle U eliminated second-seeded Missouri-Kansas City from the WAC Tournament with a 7-3 win in the final game of the day Thursday.
The Redhawks led 4-0 after four and a half innings when UMKC plated three to make it a 4-3 game after five. Seattle U scored three insurance runs in the top of the seventh to secure the victory.
Seattle U freshman hurler Andie Larkins earned the complete-game win, allowing three runs on five hits. She struck out three and walked three.
'Roo starter Amber Grove gave up four runs on five hits over two innings before being replaced by Katie Kelley, who allowed three runs on four hits.
