SEATTLE - Top seeded NM State scored four runs in the top of the first and held off a Seattle U comeback to win 6-4 in an elimination game at the WAC Tournament Friday night. With the win, the Aggies advance to the championship game where they will face CSU Bakersfield at 11 a.m. Saurday.
NM State's Tatum Reedy had five RBIs to lead the Aggies to the victory despite being out-hit 9-7 and committing four errors.
NM State's Makayla McAdams earned the win to improve to 15-8 on the season. She threw 4.2 innings, giving up two unearned runs on four hits.
The Redhawks' Andie Larkins suffered the loss, ending the season 12-15.
