SEATTLE - Fourth-seeded Seattle U eliminated No. 5 seed Utah Valley with a 7-2 win in game six of the WAC Tournament Friday. With the win, the Redhawks advance to face top-seeded NM State later tonight.
Seattle U out-hit Utah Valley 10-5 and took advantage of three Wolverine errors in the victory.
Redhawk starter Andie Larkins allowed two runs on three hits with three strikeouts and two walks to improve to 12-14 on the year. Alyssa Reuble earned her second save of the year, scattering two hits over three innings.
Utah Valley used four pitchers in the loss, with Makayla Shadle suffering the loss to close the season 2-8.
The Redhawks' Kaylee Ree was 3-for-4 with three RBIs in the win.
