Jessica Punch Hired as Coordinator of Digital Network and Media Relations

DENVER - Jessica Punch has been hired as the Coordinator of Digital Network and Media Relations at the Western Athletic Conference. She began work at the WAC on Sept. 26.

Punch is responsible for assisting the coordination of content creation, creating promotional and highlight video packages, editing, and serving as a videographer, editor and on-air talent for the WAC studio show and on-site sideline reporter for the WAC Digital Network at select championships. She is also the media contact for several sports.

Punch previously worked at the Women's Fund of East Tennessee, where she maintained the website, database and social media accounts, assisted with fundraising and event support, wrote press releases and donor acknowledgment letters and provided administrative support to the executive director. She has also served as a social media coordinator and writer for Iaam Entertainment, where she managed the TeenNetwork Instagram account, conducted online and in-person interviews for website content and represented Iaam at events.

Punch was media intern for the football recruiting department at Clemson, where she conducted player and coach interviews, and produced and edited video installments for a recruiting series.

As an undergraduate, Punch was a news reporter for Clemson News Now. She also worked as a reporter and host of Golf Center at WHHI-TV in Hilton Head, S.C., and was a news room intern at WVLT Local 8 News in Knoxville, Tenn.

Punch graduated from Clemson with a degree in communication studies and a minor in Spanish.
