SEATTLE - After winning its third WAC tournament title in five years, Seattle U learned where it will open the NCAA Tournament and the Redhawks won't have to travel far, drawing crosstown rival Washington. Match time is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday at Husky Soccer Stadium in Seattle.
Seattle U, a 2-1 winner over San José State on Sunday afternon in Las Vegas, is led by seven goals and five assists from
Sergio Rivas and six goals with seven assists from
Alex Roldan. WAC Defensive Player of the Year

Josh Adachi, the 2017 WAC Tournament MVP, holds a 0.77 goals against average in 1,986 minutes player.
Washington enters the tournament with a record of 12-6-1, including a 2-0 win over Seattle U on Sept. 24. The Huskies are led by eight goals and six assists from Handwalla Bwana. In net, Saif Kerawala has seen a majority of time, allowing 19 goals in 1,625 minutes for a 1.05 goals against average.
The winner of Thursday's match between Seattle U and Washington will travel to Ohio to take on fifth-seed Akron on Sunday.
