KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches Association (USC) announced the NCAA Division I Women's Scholar All-Region Teams and the duo from Seattle U,
Hannah Carrothers and
Stephanie Spiekerman, were honored in the West.
Carrothers, a junior defender from Delta, B.C., was named to the third-team Scholar All-West Region Team after posting a 3.6 grade-point average throughout her collegiate career while pursuing a degree in Marketing. This is the first time she is being recognized for this accomplishment.
Spiekerman, a senior from Seattle, was alongside her teammate on the third-team Scholar All-West Region Team. She currently holds a 3.7 grade-point average while completing a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. This is also her first time for this recognition.
This season Carrothers was named to second-team All-WAC while Spiekerman was honored on the first-team for the second time in her career.
