HBU's Brody Named CoSIDA Academic All-America®
HOUSTON - Houston Baptist redshirt-junior defender Bryan Brody was named to the Academic All-America Third Team on Thursday morning as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Brody, a native of Highland Village, Texas, was just the second HBU men's soccer player ever to be named Academic All-America as a Third Team selection in 2015 and is now the first to do it multiple times. He has been named Academic All-District all three years he has been eligible.

The junior led all HBU players in minutes played as the anchor of the team's back line, logging 1,343 minutes. Additionally, Brody picked up the first goal of his career this season at UNLV. He was the lone WAC representative on the 2017 Academic All-America team.
