DENVER - Chicago State's Ricardo McKenzie has been named Western Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, respectively, for March 6-12.
McKenzie, a freshman from Montego Bay, Jamaica, finished second in the 400 meter dash at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational. His time of 49.94 seconds is the best in the WAC. He also helped the Cougars 4x400 meter relay finish fourth with a WAC-leading time of 42.91 seconds.
