DENVER- UMKC will represent the WAC in the 2017 NCAA Women's Tennis Team Championships as announced by the NCAA today.
The Roos (13-9) will face No. 9 Oklahoma State (22-5) in the first round in Stillwater, Okla. in the first round on May 13. The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament will be held on May 12-13 or May 13-14.
This will be UMKC Women's Tennis' first time playing in the NCAA Tournament.
The winner of each first- and second-round site advances to the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia, where the 16 teams will compete for the national championship May 18-23. The event will be hosted by the University of Georgia.
