ATLANTA - The Kansas City women's basketball team was honored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Wednesday, earning a place on the Academic Top 25.
The 'Roos took 19th on the presitigous list after posting a team grade-point average of 3.523 last season. This marks the fourth time in school history that Kansas City has been on the Academic Top 25, including the top spot in both 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Green Bay is the top ranked NCAA Division I women's basketball program, holding a 3.819 grade-point average.
