CORAL SPRINGS, Florida - The Women's Golf Coaches Association announced the top-25 All-Scholar Team GPA list on Wednesday. The New Mexico State women's golf team came in at No. 25 with a 3.703 GPA in 2016-17.
The Aggies join Cleveland State, the University of Denver and North Florida as the only teams to make the top-25 academic team GPA and the 2017 NCAA Regionals this season.
This is the second top-25 All-Scholar Team GPA honor NM State has claimed in the last three years as they came in at No. 24 in 2014-15.
The announcement comes on the heels of seniors Kristen Cline and Camille Orito being named WGCA All-American Scholars for their fourth year in a row.
