WAC Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

DENVER - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced on Wednesday with 17 women's golfers from the WAC earning honors.

Kansas City and Utah Valley led all teams with four players each. Kansas City was represented by Abbey Campbell, Cynthia Diaz, Chandler Gallagher and Cyrielle Kern. Utah Valley was represented by Carly Dehlin, Justine Lauer, Kimberly Nyhus and Monica Yeates.

Grand Canyon had three players honored as Kylie Fong, Leleaga Meredith and Deanna Salvatori represented the Lopes. NM State was reprsented by Kristen Cline and Camille Orito. Seattle U was represented by Dorsey Addicks and Ellen Brantberg. UT Rio Grande Valley was represented by Tilda Green and Geraldine Torrellas.

A total of 952 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigous honors, which boasts a 3.50 minimum cumulative grade point average.
