DENVER - UNLV's Danny Musovski and Grand Canyon's Jeremy Pollard have been named Western Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for Sept. 18 - 24.

Musovski, a senior forward from Henderson, Nevada (Liberty HS), tied the UNLV and WAC record for goals in a game on Sunday, putting up four goals in a 5-1 rout of Oral Roberts. He completed his first career hat trick in the first half with goals in the sixth, 34th and 38th minute and then added the fourth in the 48th minute to tie the WAC record. The fourth goal also tied Musovski atop the WAC career scoring list, tying Tulsa's Donivan Bradley with 37 career scores. Musovski also added an assist on the Rebels' final goal to give him nine points on the day, setting a new WAC record for points in a game.

Pollard, a redshirt freshman goalkeeper from Sydney, Australia (Freshwater HS/Akron), made three saves to earn the shutout win in a 1-0 decision at home against Oral Roberts. He held the Golden Eagles scoreless in regulation and continued to keep the ball out of the net in overtime as the Lopes earned the extra-time win to improve to 3-1 at home this season. It was the second shutout of the season for Pollard, who also earned the clean sheet in a 1-0 win against Evansville on Sept. 7.

Other offensive nominees: Grand Canyon's Charlie Keating scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the Lopes' 1-0 win over Oral Roberts … Houston Baptist's Malik Key scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win on the road at UIW.

Other defensive nominees: Houston Baptist's Harrison Veith made a pair of saves in a 1-0 shutout win at UIW on Friday night.
