Three WAC Men's Basketball Players Named USBWA All-District
ST. LOUIS - Three WAC men's basketball players - NM State's Jemerrio Jones and Zach Lofton and Utah Valley's Akolda Manyang - have been named to the U.S. Basketball Writers Associations (USBWA) All-District VIII Team as voted on by its national membership.

The WAC Player of the Year, Jones is averaging 10.9 points, 12.7 rebounds and 3.33 assists per game. He leads the WAC and ranks ninth nationally with 18 double-doubles on the year.

A first team All-WAC selection, Lofton is averaging 19.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.79 assists per game. He was named WAC Player of the Week four times during the season.

Manyang was named to the WAC All-Defensive team earlier today after leading the conference in blocks. He averages 12.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, has six double-doubles on the year and was named WAC Player of the Week once. Manyang ranks 24th nationally in blocks per game and 38th in total blocks (62).
