WAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week Announced

DENVER – CSU Bakersfield's Autumn D'Arcy has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, respectively, for Oct. 8-15.
 
D'Arcy, a sophomore from Redlands, Calif., led the CSUB team with four first-place finishes. Individually, she picked up wins in the 50 free (23.76), 100 free (51.50) and 100 fly (54.26). D'Arcy also led the 'Runners 400 medley relay team to victory with a team time of 3:49.96. The California native holds the second-fastest time in the conference in both the 50 free and 100 free. D'Arcy also holds the league's top two times in the 100 fly with her opening meet time of 52.88 is good for fourth in the nation. 
 
Other swimmer nominees: California Baptist's Isabella Rhodes took first in the 50 free (24.10) and 100 free (52.28) at the Malibu Invite... Alexa Hoeper of Seattle U helped lead her team to a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay as the Redhawks dominated at the Logger Relays in their first meet of the season.
