GCU'S PATCHANA NAMED GOLFER OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER
Grand Canyon's Siripatsorn Patchana has been named Western Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for October.
Patchana, a junior from Anusawaree, Bangkok, Thailand, earns honors for the second straight month after averaging more than a stroke lower than any other WAC golfer on the month with a pair of top-10 finishes. She averaged 72.0 strokes per round through six rounds played with four of her six rounds coming in under par. Her top finish of the month came at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, tying for fourth with a 3-under-par 213 She also tied for 10th at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, shooting a 3-over-par 219. On the season, she leads the WAC with a 72.2 stroke average.
Other women's nominees: California Baptist's Jocelyn Chee tied for second at the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic and posted the second-best stroke average in the WAC for the month at 73.3 … Kansas City's Jaime Bellingham led the Roos in both tournaments this month, including a 19th place finish at the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic … NM State's Amelia McKee earned her first collegiate win at the Aggie Invitational with a 5-under-par 211 … Seattle U's Kimberlee Tottori took fourth to lead 18 WAC golfers at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational with a 1-under-par 215 … Utah Valley's Nathalie Irlbacher was the top finisher for the Wolverines at two-of-three tournaments on the month, including a tie for eighth place at the Aggie Invitational.

The fall portion of the 2019-20 schedule is officially complete as we will wait until late January for our first competition of the spring.
BY THE NUMBERS
Grand Canyon's Siripatsorn Patchana finishes the fall atop the stroke average leaderboard at 72.2 through 11 rounds played. NM State's Dominique Galloway is second at 73.0, followed by CBU's Jocelyn Chee in third at 73.3. On the team leaderboard, NM State leads the way with a 295.1 stroke average. Grand Canyon is second at 296.0, followed by California Baptist in third at 300.4.
WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER
California Baptist's Jocelyn Chee became the first medalist of the season, tying for the top spot at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic with an even-par 213 over 54 holes. NM State became the first WAC team to win a tournament, taking first at the Colonel Wollenberg's Ptarmigan Ram Classic with a 26-over-par 890. The Aggies picked up another team and individual title at their own Aggie Invitational as Amelia McKee took home medalist honors with a 5-under-par 211 and NM State earned the team title with a 3-under-par 861.
WAC CHAMPIONSHIP HEADS TO THE LONE STAR STATE
For the first time since 2004, the WAC Championship heads to Texas as Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville will play host to the conference tournament on April 26-28, 2020. Designed by Byron Nelson and Joe Finger, Riverhill has been host to over 40 USGA and Texas Golf Association events.
