SEATTLE U
The Seattle U women's team headed to The Land of the Midnight Sun to take on Alaska Fairbanks over the weekend. The Redhawks defeated the Nanooks in both head-to-head matchups, winning 116-87 on day one and 120-81 on day two. On the first day of competition, SU received strong performances from senior Jayna Van Stone and freshman Danika Himes. Van Stone earned a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle as she reached the wall in one minute and 57.79 seconds. She also secured the top spot in the 100 freestyle (54.60). Seattle U picked up a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 IM as Himes paced the field with a time of 2:09.94. Himes' teammates Tessa Oliver and Isabelle Guadiamos finished at 2:14.02 and 2:14.31, respectively.
 
On day two, the Redhawks continued to dominate, opening the day with a 1-2-3 finish in the 1650 freestyle. Emma McGill led the group as she finished at 18:47.66, followed by Emily Bakewell (18:53.03) and Michaela Day (19:17.42). Seattle U also swept the 100 butterfly as Bryn Lasher, Maddie Rapp and Sherlyn Devadason finished at 58.28, 1:00.75 and 1:00.88, respectively. Van Stone collected two more first-place finishes as she earned gold in the 200 backstroke (2:10.52) and 500 freestyle (5:18.22). Himes also added another first-place finish as she won the 200 breastroke (2:23.90)
 
WYOMING
The Wyoming men's team hosted the Corbett Invite, an intrasquad two-day event. Day one saw career-bests come from Andrew Rodriguez and Oskar Iwarsso. Rodriguez competed in the 200 individual medley and touched the wall at 1:51.84, finishing just shy of the pool record (1:51.39). He also recorded a career-best in the 100 backstroke (49.78). Iwarsson clocked in at 50.20 in the 100 butterfly.
 
On the second day of competition, the Cowboys saw big swims come from Robert Mitchell and Daniel Cumnock-Francois as both recorded career-bests in the 1650-yard freestyle. Mitchell and Cumnock-Francois finished at 16:30.27 and 16:35.88, respectively. Sophomore Austin Crump recorded a season-best time of 46.02 in the 100 freestyle.
