NM STATE'S QUEEN NAMED WAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NM State senior guard Trevelin Queen has been named Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 9-15. This is his first-ever WAC Player of the Week honor.

The Glen Burnie, Md. native averaged 17.0 points, 7.5 assists and 6.0 rebounds last week as the Aggies went 1-1. Last Tuesday, Queen put in 15 points and dished out seven assists to help the Aggies lock up their first road win of the season at Denver. Four days later in Albuquerque, N.M., he flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds and a career-best eight assists in the Aggies' narrow loss to the Lobos. Queen ranks in the Top 10 in the WAC in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals.

Other nominees included: California Baptist's De'jon Davis finished with 16 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds in a win over Bethune-Cookman ... Ronne Readus of CSU Bakersfield finished with 11 points and a WAC season-high 16 rebounds in an overtime loss at Idaho ... Grand Canyon's Lorenzo Jenkins tallied 15 points, three rebounds and two assists in a loss to UNI ... Javon Levi of UT Rio Grande Valley averaged 15.5 points, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals as the Vaqueros went 0-2 on the week ... Utah Valley's Trey Woodbury finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to Northern Arizona.

California Baptist leads the WAC in scoring (80.2), scoring margin (8.1), free throw percentage (77.6), three-point field goal percentage (37.6), rebounding (40.5), assists (14.4), defensive rebounds (30.0) and three-pointers per game (10.2), while CSU Bakersfield is tops in field goal percentage (45.2), rebounding margin (9.5) and offensive rebounds (14.0). UT Rio Grande Valley leads the WAC in steals (9.1), turnover margin (5.8) and assist-turnover ratio (1.1), while NM State is tops in scoring defense (64.4) and rebounding defense (29.2). Seattle U leads the WAC in field goal percentage defense (40.5) and three-point field goal percentage defense (28.3), while Utah Valley is tops in blocks (6.1).

Individually, Seattle U's Terrell Brown leads the WAC in scoring (20.9), while California Baptist's De'jon Davis is tops in rebounding (8.5), field goal percentage (59.5) and defensive rebounds (6.0). UT Rio Grande Valley's Javon Levi leads the WAC in assists (7.7), steals (3.4) and assist-turnover ratio (3.2), while teammate Connor Raines is tops in three-point field goal percentage (57.9). California Baptist's Ty Rowell and Ferron Flavors Jr. are tops in free throw percentage (90.0) and three-pointers per game (3.1), respectively. Utah Valley's Emmanuel Olojakpoke leads the league in blocks (2.9), while Kansas City's Javan White is tops in offensive rebounds (2.8) and Grand Canyon's Jovan Blacksher Jr. leads the league in minutes per game (35.7).

UTRGV'S LEVI CLIMBING PROGRAM STEALS LIST
UT Rio Grande Valley junior Javon Levi currently ranks fifth in program history in career steals with 168. He is eight shy of third place and 15 away from second.

SEATTLE U'S HAYFORD EARNS 400TH CAREER VICTORY
Seattle U head coach Jim Hayford picked up the 400th win of his career on Nov. 12 against Pacific. He is 404-209 (.659) overall and 44-34 in four years at Seattle U.

SUMMIT LEAGUE LEADS SUMMIT LEAGUE/WAC CHALLENGE 4-3
In the second year of The Summit League/WAC Challenge, The Summit League leads 4-3. The Challenge features head-to-head competition between the teams in both leagues. Match-ups were set based upon factors including the previous year's achievements, records and NET rankings, as well as projected rankings in the upcoming season.
