Five WAC Men's Soccer Players Earn Scholar All-Region Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Five WAC men's soccer players earned yet another award on Monday as the United Soccer Coaches announced its Scholar All-Region Teams.
Grand Canyon senior defender Austin Day holds the top grade point average of any player recognized in the All-West Region, earning second team honors with a 3.99 GPA as a business administration major. Utah Valley's Mark Brown has also been impressive in the classroom with a 3.92 GPA majoring in finance and also earning second team honors.
Brown's UVU teammate Zach Maas was also honored, as was the UTRGV duo of Angel Lopez and Arthur Rogers. All three players received second team honors.
