WAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week Announced
DENVER – CSU Bakersfield's Curtis Threlkeld has been named Western Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, respectively, for Feb. 26- March 4.
Threlkeld, a junior from Bakersfield, Calif., won the 800- and 400-meter races at the Beach Opener. He took first in the 800-meter with a time of 1:51.79, winning by over three seconds. In the 400, Threlkeld crossed at 48.63.
Other track nominees: California Baptist's Simon Bedard won the 3,000 meter run in 8:25.32 and set a personal best.
