DENVER- The Western Athletic Conference has announced the bracket for the 2019 WAC Men's Tennis Tournament on April 26-28 at the Brownsville Tennis Center in Brownsville, Texas.
Grand Canyon earns the No. 1 seed after ending WAC play with a perfect 5-0 record. The Lopes await the end of the first round to learn their first opponent between the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds.
NM State stamped its ticket straight to the semifinals with a No. 2 seed and 4-1 record. The Aggies will face the winner of the No. 3 and No. 6 seed.
Kansas City enters the tournament with a 3-2 record earning the No. 3 seed.
Taking the fourth seed is Chicago State and it will open play against fifth-seeded UT Rio Grande Valley in the first round.
Seattle U finished the season with an 0-5 record and it opens against Kansas City in the first round.
The tournament begins Friday, April 26, with both of the first-round matches beginning at 1 p.m. local time.
