DENVER – The 2018-19 All-WAC teams have been named following a vote of the WAC's nine head coaches. NM State's Dominique Galloway was named WAC Player of the Year, Grand Canyon's Payton Fehringer was named WAC Freshman of the Year and NM State's Danny Bowen was named WAC Coach of the Year.

Galloway earns honors after winning the WAC Championship last week at Oakbrook Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash. In addition, she had one of the top stroke averages in the conference this season at 73.9 through 29 rounds played. In 11 tournaments played, she had six top-5 finishes, including two medalist honors. Her low round of the season was a 3-under-par 68 at the Red Rocks Invitational in late March. 14 of her 29 rounds were at or below par.

Fehringer was named WAC Freshman of the Year after averaging 75.14 strokes per round during her initial collegiate season. She posted a top-10 finish at the Fresno State Classic in early April, carding a 3-under-par 69 for her best round of the season.

Bowen earns his first WAC Coach of the Year honor after guiding the Aggies to their ninth WAC women's golf title in his second season as head coach after serving five years as an assistant. A 2007 graduate of NM State, he helped the men's golf program win four tournaments, including two conference championships. Bowen was a three-time conference first team honoree and was also invited to participate in the NCAA West Regional Golf Tournament as an individual on two separate occasions.

Galloway also earned first-team All-WAC honors. Joining her on the first team are NM State's Pun Chanachai, Utah Valley's Carly Dehlin Hirsch, Grand Canyon's Siri Patchana and California Baptist's Erica Wang.

Fehringer headlines the All-WAC second team and is joined by teammate Courtney Vogel, California Baptist's Jocelyn Chee Yi Man and Yifei Wang, Utah Valley's Kaylee Shimizu.
