CBU, NM State Recognized in WGCA All-Scholar Top 25
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - A pair of WAC women's golf programs were recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Associaiton (WGCA), earning a place in the WGCA All-Scholar Top 25.
California Baptist was the highest WAC team, ranking third with an impressive 3.831 team GPA. The Lancers were also honored following the 2016-17 season, ranking 19th among all divisions.
NM State also earned honors for the second time in three seasons, ranking 16th with a 3.720 team GPA. The Aggies were also recognized following the 2016-17 season, ranking 25th. In addition, NM State was one of just four schools to compete at an NCAA Regional and rank in the WGCA All-Scholar Top 25, joining ECU, Denver and Stanford.
The University of New Mexico earned the 2018-19 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award, posting a 3.903 grade-point average.
