Six Teams Earn USTFCCA All-Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic Cross Country teams and six squads from the WAC were honored.

California Baptist and Seattle U had both their men and women earn honors. The SU men posted a grade point average of 3.21 while the CBU men had a 3.11 GPA.

On the women's side, the CBU women, who made history at the 2019 WAC Cross Country Championship by posting the first-ever perfect score, led four WAC teams with a 3.62 GPA. The Seattle U women had a 3.56 GPA, followed by Utah Valley (3.54) and UT Rio Grande Valley (3.10).

Overall, there were 191 men's teams and 237 women's teams that received All-Academic honors in NCAA Division I. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
