Four WAC Men's Basketball Teams Earn NABC Academic Excellence Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four WAC men's basketball programs – California Baptist, CSU Bakersfield, Kansas City and Seattle U – have earned Team Academic Excellence Awards from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2019-20 season. In order to earn the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, institutions must count the GPAs of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2018-19 season.
