DENVER – Due to WAC and NCAA COVID protocols, the scheduled pair of women's basketball games between Grand Canyon and Chicago State has been cancelled. Originally, the Cougars were set to host the Lopes on Friday, Jan. 15, with the second half of the back-to-back set for Saturday, Jan. 16 in Chicago.

The games are not currently set to be made up but could be if the two teams find themselves with a common off week in the future. Conference standings and seeding for the 2021 Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament will be based on a formula that considers both winning percentage and the percentage of games played.

Jan. 12 update - The series between Grand Canyon and NM State that was initially scheduled for Jan. 29 and Jan. 30 will now be played this upcoming weekend. The Aggies and Lopes will now meet in Phoenix on Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. MT and Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. MT.

The two teams were initially scheduled to play on Friday, Feb. 12, and Saturday, Feb. 13, however, the series has since been moved with games to be played on Saturday, Feb. 13, and Sunday, Feb. 14. Both games are set to tip off at 1 p.m. CT.
