Western Athletic Conference Announces Three New Hires

DENVER – Western Athletic Conference Commissioner Jeff Hurd today announced that Shelby Green, Kendra Sheehan and Adit Wratsangka have joined the WAC staff. Green is the Director of Marketing and Social Media, Sheehan is the Broadcasting Coordinator and Wratsangka is the Media Relations and Championship Intern for the 2021-22 school year.
 
Green came to the WAC after spending six months as Director of Ticketing and Promotions at CSU Pueblo. Prior to that, she spent 18 months at former WAC member institution Louisiana Tech. 
 
A Colorado native, Green graduated with a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and went on to earn her masters degree at University of Northern Colorado. While pursuing her master's degree, Green served as a marketing coordinator at University of Northern Colorado. Green's primary responsibilities with the Bears included assisting with in-game promotions, audio, and in-venue entertainment. Additionally, she directed and executed all aspects of softball gamedays and implemented an on-campus student marketing plan for 19 NCAA Division I sports.
 
Sheehan comes to the WAC after two years as weekend sports anchor for WSIL News 3 in Carterville, Ill. and reporter/color commentator for Southern Illinois University athletics. 
 
Originally from the Chicago metropolitan area, Sheehan earned her bachelor's degree from Florida State in 2018 before earning a master's in broadcast digital journalism from Syracuse University in 2019. While at Syracuse, she worked on broadcasts for ACC Network broadcasts of Orange soccer and also worked with broadcasts for Le Moyne College. She also worked as a training camp digital content reporter for the Buffalo Bills during the summer of 2019.
 
Wratsangka joined the WAC in August after earning his bachelor's degree from WAC member California Baptist University. He swam three seasons for the Lancers, earning second team All-WAC honors in the 200 Butterfly during the 2021 championship. He also was a three-time Academic All-WAC honoree.
 
A native of Jakarta, Indonesia, he also spent time as a sports editor for the Lancer Media Group and did an internship at the lifestyle desk for the Jakarta Post.
