The Aggies went on their first road dual meet with a win (197-156) over New Mexico in Albuquerque, Friday through Saturday.
In the first day, after the Aggies got out-touched in the 200 freestyle relay, Lindsay Puhalski and Jordan Andrusak blew the horn for NMSU's victory by finishing first (2:08.57) and second (2:09.30) in the 200 individual medley respectively.
Maude Boily-Dufour (2:07.34) and Puhalski (2:08.41) then secured another one-two finish in the 200 backstroke, respectively.
Quartet Boily-Dufour, Aimee Burton, Neza Kocijan and Rachel Ponte closed the first day with a win in the 400 medley relay (3:53.58).
Second day started with a win in the 200 medley realy when Boily-Dufour, Kocijan, Airam Oliva-Aun and Skylar Welle clocked a time of (1:46.23).
Wins also came from Burton in the 50 freestyle (24.14), Boily-Dufour in the 100 backstroke (58.35), Puhalski in the 400 individual medley (4:35.12) and capped with Burton, Lauren Hemburrow, Kocijan and Oliva-Aun in the 400 freestyle relay (3:30.15).
On the diving side, Italia Aranzabal finished runner-up in both the 1-meter (265.05) and 3-meter (258.90) dives. Her score in the 1-meter is qualified for NCAA Diving Zones.
