Bracket Set for 2021 WAC Men's Soccer Tournament

DENVER - For the second time in 2021, Grand Canyon is the top seed for the WAC Men's Soccer Tournament, which will begin on Wednesday at GCU Stadium in Phoenix.
The Lopes earn the top seed after posting a record of 9-2-0 in WAC play, including a perfect 5-0 at home. GCU will take on the winner of the first match, which will feature fourth-seeded San José State and fifth-seed Utah Valley. The Spartans and Wolverines will open up the action on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. with the advancing team taking on the Lopes at the same time on Friday.
Seattle U used a 2-1 win over San José State in the regular season finale to earn the second seed. The Redhawks, who won the tournament in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019, will take on the winner of Wednesday's nightcap, which features third-seed Air Force and sixth-seeded UT Rio Grande Valley. The Falcons and Vaqueros are scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with the advancing team playing the Redhawks at the same time on Friday.
The winners of Friday's matches will face off on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. for the WAC's automatic selection to the 2021 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.
