Six from WAC Named to Stats Perform All-America Teams
DENVER - Another All-America team, another first team honor for Stephen F. Austin wide receiver Xavier Gipson as the junior was one of six WAC football players honored by Stats Perform.
Gipson, who was previously named a first-team All-America selection by both the Associated Press and FCS ADA, was one of just two wide receivers honored on the top team.
Sam Houston running back Ramon Jefferson was joined by Bearkat offensive lineman Colby Thomas on the second team. Tarleton defensive back Devin Hafford also earned second-team honors.
Two more Bearkats picked up honors on the third team as defensive lineman Jahari Kay and defensive back Zyon McCollum were recognized.
