DENVER –Grand Canyon's Siripatsorn Patchana have been named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for Feb. 10 through Feb. 16.

 

Patchana, a senior from Anusawaree, Bangkok, Thailand, led the Lopes in his first tournament of the spring, putting up 15 pars on her way to a tie for seventh place. After an even-par 71 to open the tournament, she went 5-over-par 76 and then rebounded with a  2-over-par 73 to finish 4-over-par at 220 and earn the top-10 finish. Her 73.3 stroke average is the best in the WAC this season by two strokes.

 

Other nominees: Utah Valley's Victoria Estrada picked up a pair of match play victories for the Wolverines at the Mountain Match Play Classic, earning individual wins against Southern Utah and Wyoming.
