Three From WAC Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
DENVER – Three WAC student-athletes has been named to the CoSIDA 2020-21 Academic All-District® 8 Men's Soccer Team. District 8 consists of players from seven states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawai'i, Oregon, Utah, Washington) and Canada.
Utah Valley's Mark Brown and Zach Maas and Grand Canyon's Marco Afonso represented the WAC on the 11-player list.
The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
