DENVER - After two Sacramento State players were selected on day two of the MLB Draft, three Grand Canyon Lopes and one CBU Lancer were selected on the third and final day.

Sacramento States's Travis Adams is headed to the Midwest as the hurler was taken in the sixth round by the Minnesota Twins. In three seasons, Adams posted a 10-6 record with a 3.75 ERA and a 7.75 strikeout-per-nine. A consistent strike-thrower, Adams walked just 25 in 151.0 innings, good for a 1.4 BB/9.

The Hornets' Scott Randall was taken early in the seventh round, heading to the Arizona Diamondbacks. A two-time All-American, Randall began his career at Sacramento State in 2018. He appeared in 52 games for the Hornets in his career, starting 49 of them, third most in program history. A native of Rocklin, Calif., Randall also ranks among the program's all-time leaders in a number of other categories, including third in second in wins (24), third in innings pitched (281.2), and fourth in strikeouts (249).

Grand Canyon led the way on the final day, seeing three players go in the 14th round. Shortstop Channy Ortiz was the first Lope to go, heading just a few miles down the road to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

GCU closer Frankie Scalzo was the next to be picked, going to the Chicago Cubs while starting pitcher Pierson Ohl went to the Minnesota Twins.

California Baptist's Damon Keith was the final WAC player taken, going with the final pick of the 18th round to the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
