WGCA Recognizes 29 WAC All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars have been announced and 29 WAC wopmen's golfers from eight different schools were recognized with this presitigous honors.

Seattle U led the way with seven student-athletes recognized. California Baptist and Utah Valley each had five recognized while NM State had four earn honors. Dixie State and Grand Canyon had three each while UT RIo Grande Valley had two honored.

Also, new WAC members Lamar and Stephen F. Austin had golfers recognized, with LU having two honorees and SFA collecting three honors.

To earn the honor, a golfer must hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50. In all, 1,432 golfers across all divisions were recognized.
