DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference flexed its collective muscle on Tuesday with four players going in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, including three in the first round.
Utah Valley's Jojea Kwizera was the first WAC player taken off the board as CF Montreal made the Wolverine the 15th overall selection.
Grand Canyon's Esai Easley was next to hear his name called as Sporting KC selected the center back with the 22nd pick of the first round.
Just five picks later, GCU's Justin Rasmussen was selected by the Portland Timbers with the 27th pick.
In the second round, Air Force forward Tristan Trager went to Atlanta United FC with the 47th overall pick.
Two more were selected in the third round with UTRGV's Reshaun Walkes heading to Toronto FC and Seattle U's Hal Uderitz making the short trip to Sounders FC.
